Christiaan Moes, also known as “Moose”, is an emerging artist from Melbourne, Australia. Studying fine arts in Brisbane before moving to Melbourne to complete his degree, he has exhibited in shows both across the country and internationally.
His work typically revolves around the subject of anthropomorphism (the attribution of human characteristics to animals and visa versa) using it as a metaphor or visual embodiment for the human condition and critiquing social identity, sexuality and our relationship with the natural world.
